here is something we might never have discovered

well you probably don't know but automattic guys (all, girls too:) ) are interesting, we all probably know there is autosave feature in blogs well to find something new and interesting try doing this now whenever you see a comparison table downside the post, page in wp-admin section

'There is an autosave of this page that is more recent than the version below. View the autosave'

    try doing it,

    doing what?

comparing same versions of the autosave

    and see what follows

  2. Oh, I've seen those, especially on me self-hosted blogs... and to me, auto save and revisions are very annoying. You don't even have the option of deleting a revision or auto save.

Good thing, though, on a self-hosted blog, you can go and modify the necessary .php files to disable those 'features' and delete those rows from your db tables (something you can't do on a blog).

I'm sure there are people (like you) out there who find these features very helpful/useful... However, I don't.

  3. I don't like the autosave feature either for all the same reasons. lol :D

  4. @devblog & timethief: The OP said "comparing same versions of the autosave": he's referring to the hidden joke.

@sourceforgenet: Yes we know that; personally I don't find it interesting.

  5. I posted a article about this awhile back > Hidden Easter Egg In WordPress 2.6

  7. It's been that way for three years, off and on. Welcome, n00b
