    Just trying to find a way of hiding the Page Titles from showing up when the page is displayed. I don't mind the post titles from being displayed in each post, but just want to hide page titles from showing up. Any suggestions? theme being used is Under the Influence and blog is

    Many thanks

    The blog I need help with is

  2. Does this help?

    The tab in the top nav menu doesn’t have to be the actual page title, so here’s what you can do:
    Edit the pages and delete their titles.
    Go to Appearance > Menus and create a custom menu. Select your (now nameless) pages from the Pages module, click Add to Menu.
    Click the arrow at the right side of each page module to open it, type the title in the Navigation Label field. Click Save Menu, select the menu from the Theme Locations pulldown, click Save.

    I'm guessing this will not affect SEO/RSS or any other feeds etc that rely on page titles?

  4. I'm sorry but I don't know if it will or not. What's above and what's at this reference link is all I'm aware of

    cool. thanks. will give it a go and see.

  6. To hide the page titles if you have the Custom Design upgrade, add this to your CSS:
    .singlepage h2 {display:none;}

    Works a charm!

    Hi again,

    That code hides the page titles, but also the post titles. Any way to work around this so the post titles do show?

  10. I don't see any posts on your site, so I used one of my test blogs and set it to under the influence. Give this a try.

    .page h2 {
    display: none;
  11. thathungrychef

    Oh there definitely are posts! All the titles under UK restaurants and Recent Grazings are posts.

    Will try that code.

    That one also removes the titles of sidebar widgets.

  13. What an absolutely bizarre theme. Third time's a charm?

    .singlepage .page h2 {
    display: none;
  14. thathungrychef

    Hurrah! Third time lucky indeed! thanks a ton!

  15. You are welcome. I'm going to have to look around in under the influence. The CSS appears to be quite weird in some respects.

    cool cool. I'm sure I'll hark back to you at a later stage!
