Hiding site title for Twenty-Ten

Does anyone know of a way to hide the site title in the Twenty Ten template? If you remove it from the “general” category you loose the title in the administration of the blog and I don’t want to do this. My custom header holds my site’s title and the wordpress default title is redundant and looks bad. Thanks! Maxine

The blog I need help with is minasinternational.com.

It would require some CSS editing experience and the paid CSS upgrade.

I have installed twenty ten theme in my blog-site and I would like to change the site title by uploading my logo as this site http://www.touchmusic.org.uk/ or either hide it and use just my header image. is this possible?

@violentefemme, sorry, you need to head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ as that is where self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG are supported.

These forums are for those hosted here on the wordpress.COM free hosting service and things here work differently.

If you do not know the difference, see this support document: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ .

thanks so much anyway, the tips you have suggested above have been very usefull to me

    You’re welcome.

The one thing I’ll mention is that your blog is seriously broken. The generated HTML had no head section and that is not good. You need to see about fixing that before doing any customization as the search engines don’t like sites without head sections in the HTML. The .ORG forums will be able to help you with that.
