Historical undercounting of stats–Status update?

On 10/22, Matt said “Good news: We’ve historically been vastly undercounting your stats, and we’re starting to fix this.”

What is the current status of the stats? Are they still low? Is the fix somewhere in process, possibly still causing glitches (such as several people, including myself, noticing the stats for their best day changing after the fact)?

I’m mostly looking for an update on where we are with stats. If the answer is, “We’re working on it, but there may still be some weirdness, so don’t freak out if things don’t add up,” I can live with that. I just want to know if the changes have been made already or if they are still in process.

The blog I need help with is christytucker.wordpress.com.

Changes are still in progress — right now things are still at the pre-change state, which means things are being undercounted, but when we incorporated some of the social distribution into stats it went a bit higher than we expected and we need to track that down and make sure it’s really representative.

Thank you, that makes sense. I’m looking forward to seeing how things look for my stats once all the changes are implemented and stable.
