Hi, have a look at http://eepportetsuit.wordpress.com, and see for yourself, there is no way I can manage to have that balnk post removed. What do I do wrong? Thanks for your reply at:
I’m not entirely sure, but it looks to me as though that’s a “featured image.” Did you try to use a featured image in “ENQUÊTE,” which appears to be your most recent post? Have you tried editing the most recent post? ENQUÊTE appears to be an empty post — were you testing your posting so it is meant to be blank?
If “ENQUÊTE” is the most recent post, since it is blank, you will get nothing in the post on the front page. You need not only text, but an image. Otherwise, you will get a “blank” image in place of the nonexistent featured image.
The solution is provided in the article that Tess has linked to above. “The showcased post is the latest post from a given category; category selected in Appearance > Theme Options > “Featured Category” dropdown. All posts filed under the featured category must include a featured image, otherwise you get an empty grey box in its place – no way to eliminate that.”
