Home Page Customization Cubic Theme

  1. The home page in the Cubic theme only allows blog posts to be featured but I would like to feature some pages instead in the same layout.

Is there any way I can do that? Has anyone tried to do something similar?

Any recommendations would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

The blog I need help with is

  2. By default the themes defaukt to the blog posts page as the home page, but you can set a Static page as your home page - and keep a blog page as well: video and printed instructions here:

  3. @danielaestevez,

You may do as @houstonweaver suggests and change the front page to a static page, but this won't address the issue you've described. See instead the topic Cubic theme - use pages rather than posts, which indicates that posts can not be replaced by pages on the blog page of Cubic, but also suggests an alternative.

  4. danielaestevez: With Cubic, if you use the Link Post Format and insert a working link into the blog post, the square on your front page will link to the URL you've entered. You can see an example on the Cubic demo if you click on the "Learn WordPress" post. It's on the second row in the middle.

  5. @dcoleonline,

Thanks! I'd forgotten about the post format "Link." : -)

  6. @musicdoc1: You're welcome. It doesn't work the same way on all themes, but since Cubic has this feature, it may still be a good fit for danielaestevez.

  7. Thanks all for clarifying and adding information I lacked.

  8. How do I get my page into cubic theme? Thanks

  9. @ashleighmcleanptc,
