Homepage only displaying 2 posts
Hi, I have created five posts but for some reason, only my two most recent posts will display on my WordPress page. I have my page set to display 10 blog posts per page so I’m not sure what happened. I only have the free version, so no plugins. Any help would be much appreciated!
The blog I need help with is kristenbeaneportfolio.wordpress.com.
Hi there, Hm, that’s curious. I see all your published posts in the yearly archive at
https://kristenbeaneportfolio.wordpress.com/2020/ and it does look like you are using the Blog page for your site’s front page.
Can you have a look at your Customizer>Homepage setting and confirm “Your Latest Posts” is selected there. If you change it, make sure to click the “Save Changes” button at the top of the Customizer.
If the “Latest posts” is selected please come back to this forum thread and let us know.
I’ve just tested this on my own Private test site, and Maywood seems to have issues. I’ve gone ahead and flagged this forum thread for Staff attention.
You are not using your post page as your home page. Here is how to get that set up:
I am able to see all your posts once I changed you home page to show your posts. Please test it out and let me know if you have any issues.
@justjennifer – what issues are you seeing with the theme from your end?
Thanks for checking @darnelldibbles.
As far as my Private test site, I’ll set up an empty site using Maywood to see if the issue is my current test content (theme test content from ORG) or another issue and come back to you here. TIA
Thank you! It does seem setting the theme to Maywood may automatically switch the front page for you, though, since much of the “theme” is in the page template. Let us know what you find.
@kristenbeane11 I see you’ve resolved your forum question, so please accept my apologies for invading your topic.
Staff: I’ll post this elsewhere.
Hi everyone! Thank you for your help. I changed the theme from Maywood to something else and all my posts are now showing up.
