How can I activate my account and publish my posts?

  1. I am unable to publish my posts. I continually see a message stating that an activation email has been sent. I clicked on those I had been sent on setting up my blogs but the message is still there and I am unable to publish my posts. I have requested the email to be resent several times but do not receive anything. I do not have an alternative email address and have checked my spam folder etc and tried clearing my cache and cookies. I can't see any mistakes in the details submitted.

  5. Hi - still having the same problem I'm afraid. This is what I see whenever I log in and although I have lots of posts ready to publish, I'm still not seeing an option to do so.

    Please confirm your email address.
    A confirmation email was sent to [email redacted]. Confirmation will enable publishing of posts on your blog.
    Resend Email | Update Email Address

  6. Hi there - Did you receive the confirmation email to your email address? When you click on the link in that email to activate, what do you see? Do you get an "Activated! You can now post..." type message?

    If you never received that email and it's not in your junk/spam, can you please try whitelisting * and [email redacted] and resending it? It's possible your email client is blocking emails from

  7. I got emails for both blogs when I first set them up and clicked on them at the time.

  8. I've never seen the "Activated! You can now post ...." message. When I just went back and clicked on them I get an "Invalid activation key" message.

  9. Hi there - Ah, ok. That's because those emails are old enough to have expired now. When you click the link to resend the email, you don't receive another one? I just resent one to you, let me know if you get it.

    If not, are you able to whitelist * and [email redacted] in your email client?

  10. Hi - I'm sorry about this but I can't see any reason why wordpress emails are blocked - I'm getting all the ones you send and got the initial activation emails. I can't actually see anywhere in my email client to whitelist you specifically and you're not on the blocked list! However, I haven't received the activation email you just sent me. Looking back I did get a confirmation email on one of the blogs (brooklands book group) but not my other blog with the following message:
