How Can I Avoid Offensive Thumbnails at the End of My You Tube Video?

My blog is http://stacyallbritton. I have uploaded YouTube videos to my blog, for example one to the page entitled “The Diary of Marie Landry.” This one is a video trailer, but when the video is finished playing, “ads” for other You Tube videos appear (not only videos from my channel), and some of the image thumbnails are quite offensive. One is of a young man’s chest, all sliced up and bloody! My website is geared primarily for young readers and homemakers! I have clicked on other bloggers’ You Tube links, and at the end of their videos, I see “Replay,” “Like,” and “Share” – no thumbnails. How can I do this?

I have saved a screenshot if you need an example.

That was so easy! Thanks, Justpi, you rock!! <3

The only way to get rid of all advertising on our free hosted blogs is to purchase an annually renewable No-Ads upgrade. As you have a blog for kids that what I recommend. has been running advertising on our free hosted blogs since 2006. Many bloggers do not know this because despite the fact they ticked the box required to get a free blog, they did not read the ToS. Many also do not read features page, or advertising entry in the support documents after registering their username and blog(s). Also note that as the ads do not display to us when we are logged in, and as many use browsers with ad blockers when logged out, they may not realize they are there at all.

If you feel an ad is inappropriate please take a screenshot of it and send it to Staff by emailing or upload it into your Media Library and contact Staff and let them know it’s there for them to view.

Thanks again, TimeThief. I was actually referring to the YouTube thumbnails, which I’ve been able to get rid of using the shortcode, but I will check into your suggestion due to the nature of my blog.

    You’re welcome.
