How can I clear the import error message?

    I tried to import a small number of posts (~20) from my old Typepad blog. This is something I’ve been doing slowly and intermittently for a long time now (years). I go to tools > import > typepad and it all goes fine.

    Then, on November 25th, instead of it all going fine, I got the following message:

    “We’re processing your import now and will send you an email when it’s all done. If you don’t hear from us within 24 hours, please contact support, and we’ll get everything fixed.”

    I wandered off and did some other things and came back and tried clicking through tools > import > typepad again a few times. It continued to show the same error message.

    I received 3 emails from WordPress, 1 saying it was a successful import and 2 repeating the above message.

    The posts I was trying to import are not there and the error message won’t go away so I can’t just try to redo the import.

    I did try accessing my WordPress blog in another browser and got the same message. I’ve also cleared the cache and the cookies, restarted the computer, and waited a week.
