How can I enable the featured images option?

  1. I am using a theme that supports featured images but in the editor screen there is no option to post an image as featured. I've found some directions on google on how to enable this feature but none of the required settings are available in my dashboard.

  3. Thank you timethief.
I've browsed through all the links and still can't solve the problem as the "Use as featured image" option does not appear when I upload an image. I only get "Insert into post".

Do you have any idea of how I can enable that option?

  4. To set a featured image on a page edit it to open it. Look on the far right hand side of the page at the modules under the Publish box. Locate the Module for Featured Images and click "set featured image".

If you don’t see the Featured Image module on your Add New or Edit Post page, please make sure you’ve selected Featured Image in your Screen Options.
