How can I find the time people are visiting?
-
I apologize if someone already asked, but I couldn’t find it in the forums or in Support. I wanted to know if there’s a way to see around what time of day people view your website from the Stats page or if this a feature they plan on coming out with…? I schedule my posts so it would be helpful if I knew what time of day I should have them posted.
Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You could use a free third party non-JavaScript stats program called sitemeter. See here for what it provides me with > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2009/10/02/visitor-tracking-on-wordpress-com-blogs/

You might want to reconsider using sitemeter, unless you want pop up videos and tracking cookies. The tracking problem has been around a long time, but the video pop up problem has only just begun.

The code shown in the “only just begun” Post is an iframe – that code is not allowed on WordPress.COM
The “only just begun” blog is a WordPress.ORG install – maybe the iframe is the difference since more can be done with an iframe than just the plain html code that is allowed here
-
The code shown in the ‘only just begun’ post is an example of the code generated by SiteMeter’s servers, not the code one uses to insert a sitemeter counter, which is just an image and some javascript…

javascript is not allowed on WordPress.COM – only the plain html code is allowed –
I have sitemeter on my site and the stats I see are a subset of those available to others

Did you not read what I posted above on Oct 15, 2013, 3:39 PM ? We cannot use the JavaScript version of sitemeter on free hosted WordPress.com blogs. And I’m not clear why you drug this old thread out of the searchbox.
