How can I remove 'not found' message on my new blog

I have just started a new blog and have a ‘not found’ advice complete with search box appear at the top of my blog. (no doubt my fault hitting a wrong button during the setup process) I’ve searched through the help topics and cannot find out how to remove it before I start posting.
The blog I need help with is aussiestreetpics.wordpress.com.
Just make a blog post. That’s appearing because you deleted the placeholder post and haven’t made any new ones.
