How can I transfer my followers to a self hosted wordpress blog?

  1. I moved my blog to a self hosted one and I would like to transfer my followers to the new site. I've installed the jetpack plugin and linked it to the previous blog. Is it possible? If not I don't know how to contact them.

  2. The staff can move them for you - I flagged this for their attention

  3. Thanks a lot!

  4. I have transferred your followers as requested.

Please let us know if you need any further assistance!

  5. Hello macmanx,

Please I would like my blog followers transferred too. I just moved from to

I've already installed and activated Jetpack.

  6. Hello Macmanx, i've seen that you transferred my followers. Thanks
But there should have been a problem.

I had 16 followers and now only one. tha old blog shows no followers (and I think it's correct cause you transferred them) but the new one shows only one.

  7. Hi,

Can I make the same request? I've installed/activated jetpack and my wordpress blog is:

And the new self-hosted blog is:

  8. gearsoftvalue, we can only transfer email followers, as the Reader does not support blogs.

oxygenmat and friffin, I have transferred your followers as requested, but please create your own threads next time.

  9. Macmanx,
Thanks a lot. It's sad the followers on reader can't be trasferred as those are the ones I need. I've catered for the email subscribers through my newly-launched newsletter.

I regret and am sorry for any inconvenience, but can you help me reverse the action? I don't need the email subscribers getting updates directly (as my newsletter has covered them).

    Thanks for your help.

  10. I'm sorry, but the transfer is irreversible.

In this case, they'll have to unsubscribe themselves via a link at the bottom of the emails.

  11. Thanks for the explanation though it's sad that it's like this.
    Thanks again for your help
