How do I change blog URL

    This is going to sound confusing but here I go…
    I hope someone understands me!

    First off, I was contemplating on changing my blog URL. I created a second blog before I realized there was an option to change your existing site. Ugh!

    Now I have 2 blogs. But I only want 1. How do I keep my content on my first blog but use my 2nd blog name? I can’t transfer it because I apparently already own it. I’m so confused. HELP!

    What is your first blog URL? What is your second blog URL? We need them both starting with http.

    It may seem counterintuitive, but having two is better. Just go to the dashboard Tools page of the one you do NOT want, and create an Export file. On the Tools page of the new blog, Import that file. Once you’ve ensured everything came across okay, you can go to the first blog and, if it’s had a lot of incoming links and subscribers, buy the Redirect Upgrade so all those readers go to the new blog. If not, don’t bother spending the money.

    Then you can set the old one to Private. That way you have a blog to use to play around with themes and widgets and codes without messing with your REAL blog. It’s very handy.
