How do I change my HTML code for my frontpage?

I want to do something with the layout of my front page and I have a ready html code so I would like to know where (in which html source) should I insert this code.

The blog I need help with is

First off, there is no HTML in wordpress or wordpress themes. It is all done in PHP script and secondly, since this is a multi-user platform, we all share the same underlying wordpress and theme files, so a change by one person would effect everyone using that theme. We do not have access to the theme files here.

There is the paid CSS upgrade, but you cannot add script or HTML to the CSS. The CSS allows you to stylize the themes, but it does not allow the changing of the underlying functionality.

What exactly are you wanting to change?

I want to add an ad (but its not for profit since its for free, its the website of a friend of mine) and we can advertise our websites to each others URLs). I have the html code but do not know where to input it. Any ideas?

My suggestion is to put it into a text widget in the sidebar.

cool…great advice u’v put up, path.

but some codes are missing when I saved my changes in my blog… the missing codes are <style> and <script> codes.

@penah: Please paste the exact URL of your blog when asking questions here – or link your nickname to your blog as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know. We can’t help without that.
