How do I check site redirect settings? Currently not working.

  1. We've set up the site redirect without success. InMotion is the domain registrar, and the DNS settings appear correct ( and ns2 & ns3). Would appreciate any help with what to look for in configuraration, or if there's a way to clear and reset. Many thanks,

  6. Thanks. We'd like to do domain mapping. The base blog is, but with the domain subscription set up it keeps bouncing over to the nonfunctioning

    Did you follow these instructions?

    Were you charged for the Domain Mapping?

    Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades >> is Domain Mapping shown?
    Dashboard >> Store >> Billing History >> Is your purchase listed?

  11. I'd just turned the domain mapping off to see if I could call up the existing site. Sorry if that made things more difficult. Just toggled it back on and see:

    Status: Active
    USD per year
    $0.04 per day

    I see nothing in billing history, but this purchase was completed by zeuszoe, who is also an admin on this account.

  12. It looks like the purchase failed - I have flagged this for the staff to review the account - they have a good record of making sure you get what you paid for

    To help the staff - what is the base WordPress.COM blog you need the domain mapping for? (

  14. We have no record of being mapped here. Did you receive a receipt from us?

    If not, you can map it by adding it via Store -> Domains in your blog's Dashboard.

  15. Hi, @macmanx. The original domain mapping was paid for by a later-added admin on the site, and the page indicated that it had gone through, although the mapping wasn't working. Here's her confirmation email:

    I went in this morning and completed another transaction and now the mapping works fine. (Is that because I'm the primary account holder?) Anyway, is it possible to get her card credited? The blog shows two mapping entries. Perhaps the "help" email address?

  16. That's a Site Redirect upgrade, not Domain Mapping, that's why it didn't work. ;)

    I have canceled and refunded the Site Redirect upgrade based on the transaction ID you provided.
