  I have created some categories. They are automatically put in alphabetical order but I want to control the order they are listed in. How do I do this?

  Categories are alphabetically ordered by default.

  If you need to show your categories in a certain order, you can build a Custom Menu http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/ and add the categories pages to it http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#adding-category-pages and order them as you wish http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#changing-the-order-creating-sub-menus
