How do I create a 3,4,5, or 6 column post in Magazine by Studiopress

    I am trying to create columns in a post on the Magazine template by Studiopress. I am really not sure where to start, or if it is possible on Do I need to move to .org and purchase the Genesis Framework, or should I be able to do it on with theme customisation – which I have also purchased?

    The answer to your question is you can create columns in posts is by using HTML tables. The blog linked to your username is wearing Skeptical.

    The Magazine theme is a premium theme and read-access to the premium themes forum is now open to all users so you can search to see if your question has been previously asked and answered there. The premium theme forums are at with separate sections for each theme.

    If you have already purchased the theme and are not successful when searching there is a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s Dashboard, but do note that the premium theme must be active and you must be signed in as the user who purchased it in order to see it and post to it.

    There’s another way to create columns using CSS, but it’s a CSS3 property and that means it’s not supported in all browsers yet.

    Here is an example to give you an idea of how you might use it in the Magazine theme:

    #content .entry-content {
    	columns: 3;
    	-webkit-columns: 3;
    	-moz-columns: 3;
    #content .entry-content img {
    	max-width: 90%;

    Here is browser compatibility information about the columns property:

    Thanks for the code, it works really well. What I can’t figure out is how to use it for a specific post and not as a default setting.
    When I entered it into the custom design box it altered the front page of my blog – I would like to keep that static. Is there a way to apply it for individual posts only?
    Thanks for your help
