OK, I see what they are doing. The problem is those techniques in all browsers from what I can see (doesn’t work in any version of IE or Opera). IE still accounts for over 46% of web users so 46% of web users would not be able to see your CSS slideshow.
CSS3 animations and transitions are simply not something you can reliably use right now.

Yeah, we decided to scrap the slideshow idea altogether, and just make the blog the landing page for the site, rather that using a static home page.
