How do I create multiple "topics" in the same blog?

  1. I currently have the ability with the Modularity Light Theme to have one page that I can post to over and over. As well, I can have more "tabs" but they are static, single-entry, pages. How do I go about having it so that I can have multiple dynamic pages within the same blog?

I am trying to have multiple topics that I wanted to talk about, but have them separate so that there is no "cross contamination" between the two, but still have traffic in one space.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

  2. Pages and posts are different. Pages are static and are for content that rarely changes. They sit outside of the blog structure and they do not automatically update.

You cannot post to multiple pages in any blog. There is only one main page for posts in a blog and all posts will display on the main blog page. There is no way to exclude posts from the main posts (blog) page.

Though there is only one dynamic page in a blog for posts and we cannot post to more than that one page, we can create the appearance that we have posted to more than one page. We organize posts by assigning categories to them. You can create a custom menu and add the dynamic categories pages created by the software when you publish posts into the custom menu.

  3. Thanks so much. This helps a great deal.

  4. You're welcome.
