    This option is theme dependent. Modularity Lite does not have the option to hide the text.

    See here for the full list: http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/03/24/header-images/

    The following blog doesnt have displayed, but definitely has a ‘site title’ of ‘nocheapthrills’

    > http://nocheapthrills.wordpress.com/

    and it it using the same theme as me.

    do i need to upgrade for CSS enabling or something ?

    It could be hidden from view using CSS if you had the Custom Design Upgrade.

    Go to appearance > custom design > CSS, delete the informational text from the edit window and paste the following in. Then click the preview button. In some instances you may have to force refresh the preview page in order to see the change.

    #masthead h4 {
    text-indent: -999px;
    }
