How do I keep current site active while I work through changes in new premium theme?

    I am thinking about upgrading to a new premium theme. The current site has lots of pages and media. I anticipate that the transfer will not be a simple click of a button. I want to simplify the menu and reorder pages on the new theme. How do I keep the current site functioning while I work through the changes.

    Hi there.

    Have you considered setting up a separate test site where you can experiment with things like different themes, menu orders etc.? Once you’ve done setting up your test site, you’ll be set to more easily transfer your settings over to your ‘real’ site. We have some step-by-step guidance on setting up a test site here:
