    Hi :)

I’m now with using wordpress, and I can’t seem to figure out how to make the layout wider. I am currently using the twenty eleven layout which seems perfect for me, but I can not seem to figure out how to widen the theme I’ve chosen. Can anyone please help me?

    Thx so much.

The blog I need help with is styledourway.wordpress.com.

To widen the theme it would require the Custom Design upgrade and some CSS editing experience.

You might want to look at this post by Panos where he lists the maximum widths of the posting are for all the themes here.

thx so much for your fast answer! Now that you’re here, could you maybe tell me how I make my name appear in the post? I’m blogging with my girlfriend, so we need a tag that says “posted by Betina” and “posted by Kamilla” in each post.

Whether the author’s name appears in the posts is theme specific. On the theme you are using, See this post by Panos that tells which themes display the author’s name and which do not.

You can always include a “byline” at the beginning of each of your posts.

Another layout question. Is it possible to skip the side bar and have all bloglovin “follow”-stuff, “googlereader boxes”, link to archives, etc. in one of the menu parts? Could we e.g. make a thing in the menu called “follow” and how the bloglovin/google thingys there and a thing called “archive, and have a link to the archive there?

You could put a link to the archives into the top menu using the custom link feature in a custom menu, but things like bloglovin, follow, etc., no.
