Here’s one I’m trying to embed:

    <embed style=”width:400px; height:326px;” id=”VideoPlayback” align=”middle” type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” src=”http://video.google.com/googleplayer.swf?videoUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fvp.video.google.com%2Fvideodownload%3Fversion%3D0%26secureurl%3DoAAAAGid7jaOwjF4WwUc1jhipVdfj67uUeJIGRxg8YYyTtyZ_L_maeHYILdADC1ApAjSfhBMzOFQT1ygWHunuWU43MsvSoE9U391HAf2Lym5Z5W-uwUXvfxtaPyuZwYEGNg93sHxLXlMpUR_6GYwSyaBzrbkq-kcsy2igXXpV-fmJLbb3f_A2NifFZHvEpctIYhiyX7-g7p_WxAlkPLU_Ir9L2VEDCjQzetJ73pD5Sj1IIfW%26sigh%3DEO14csAx2WoNMky5rr0bqFjqvzU%26begin%3D0%26len%3D179999%26docid%3D7726336987100657178&thumbnailUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fvideo.google.com%2FThumbnailServer%3Fcontentid%3D2c9ba0a7fc612510%26second%3D5%26itag%3Dw320%26urlcreated%3D1141266703%26sigh%3D63pddIXhnQbu65Xc4vzBHBpuCU8&playerId=7726336987100657178&playerMode=embedded” allowScriptAccess=”sameDomain” quality=”best” bgcolor=”#ffffff” scale=”noScale” wmode=”window” salign=”TL” > </embed>

just to add to this, i know the embed tags are disabled due to security but is there anyway to have them enabled on a case by case basis?

reason being, i want to use my site as a blog/online portfolio. i’m a reviewer of windows mobile devices and my most recent reviews have been interactive, using quicktime (see here for example: http://www.msmobilenews.com/page/1059/).

Is there anyway i could have the tags enabled on my account?

Some case by case items have been done in the past. You would have to send in a Feedback from your Dashboard requesting this but unless you’re Scooby or on the Top100, I seriously doubt that this will occur.

You might be better off with a hosted blog that you pay for.

    Good luck,

No. Please read the thread you posted in: embeds are not allowed.

If you wish to post videos, options are available. Type “video” into the FAQ searchbox. Also try typing in “vodpod”.
