How do I migrate a premium theme I purchased on wordpress.com to my new domain?
-
I’ve done some reading in the forums, but can’t seem to find an answer to my question. Last night I moved my WordPress blog to server space I bought through Godaddy. I exported the blog as a XML file, and after importing it I realized all of my information was there, except for the “Headlines” theme I had purchased through WordPress.com. Is there a way to transfer this theme over to my personally hosted WordPress site? Thanks.

I’m sorry, the premium theme you’ve purchased can only be used on WordPress.com. If you want, I can cancel and refund the theme for you. Please reply to confirm.
You can purchase the ‘Headlines’ theme for self-hosted WordPress.org blogs over here
Yeah, that’d be great. Thanks.

I have fully refunded your purchase and cancelled the upgrade, as requested. Please note it normally takes around a week for a refund to appear on your bank statement.
