  2. The best solution is to learn how to use your browser tools to view CSS. A lot of times, when the full stylesheet link was too easy to find in the Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor page, beginners were using it to copy and paste the entire stylesheet link into the editor—which ended up causing them trouble. :)

To view CSS with your browser's web inspector tools, right-click on any page element and select the "Inspect Element" option. In Chrome (which is nice IMO), it will show you the HTML of what you clicked on as well as all of the CSS that applies to it. This is a much better way to dig for small details compared to reading through the entire stylesheet.

Also, the stylesheet link is still available on the Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor page, but it is now located under "Mode: Add-on" in the Publish box. Do not copy and paste the entire stylesheet into the CSS editor un less you are an advanced CSS user and you know what to modify in order to make that work.
