Hi, I have been using WP for some time and have hundreds of images uploaded in my media library. It has recently come to my attention that many of the images I have in my media library have GPS details inside the exif information. This is a big risk for me as I should not be exposing the location of many photos. I need to strip the GPS information for items inside my media library as soon as possible. I have searched online for methods to do this, but nothing has cme up. Can you please tell me how I can do this?

The blog I need help with is

Hi Ben, it looks like your site is using the standalone WordPress software. You’ll want to post for help over at the support forums at where they likely have more experience with the type of issue you’ve described.

Just to clarify, this support forum assists users of WordPressdotcom hosted sites and the guidance provided here may not be relevant to DIY sites hosted with an external hosting provider (e.g. Bluehost, GoDaddy, etc.). For more information on the differences:

    Best wishes

Thank you justjennifer, I will look into that
