How do I upload a custom header to theme Twenty Ten?
How do I upload a custom header to theme Twenty Ten? It says on http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/twentyten/ that this is possible, but I do not get an upload dialog box when I go to the menu as described on http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/custom-header-image/

The blog I need help with is amkaplan.wordpress.com.
Hmm, that’s definitely the correct support page. In Appearance -> Header, do you see a “Choose file” button?
If not, can you take an uncropped screenshot of what you’re seeing and upload the image to your Media Library?
If I can do that on my iPad, i will. I’m about to leave on a plane and it will be a few days. My gut says that it’s not possible, and someone has misspoken. I see no obvious way to do it in the panel.
Well, very curious… When I go to the page on my iPad, there’s the upload option. I guess I’ll have to wait until I get home and figure out why I didn’t see it on my computer, or if it was all in my head. Weird.
OK, this is really annoying. I have accessed the dashboard through the iPad app and have discovered its just a shell for the browser version, and does not have the ability to upload the file. It is not written specifically for the iPad and won’t access the photo libraries, and I can’t upload anything to the media library through it, either. This is just lame. I’m going to look for some other platform, as I’m traveling and on the ipad for six weeks. WordPress is mobile-friendly only to the extent that it will let you post updates to it, but not give you full functionality.
Hear that, WordPress?
If I can do that on my iPad, i will.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience. This is an iOS 5 limitation, which doesn’t allow direct access to the filesystem, and it should be be cleared up in iOS 6.
To upload a custom header image, you’ll need to use a desktop browser.
As for uploading images for posts or pages, you can use the WordPress app for iOS to accomplish that.
