how do you fix the dns
The domain name alexsangha.com seems to be expired and in Redemption – you will need staff help to renew your domain name – I will flag this for the staff to help you
The domain alexsangha.com expired on November 2 and is currently in redemption. This means that the domain is deactivated, but has not yet been fully released. During this time, you can still renew this domain, but the process is more complicated than a regular renewal.
In the meantime, I’ve issued a $13 refund for the unsuccessful domain mapping. It can take 1-2 weeks for a refund to be reflected on your account.
If you’d like to renew your ownership of this domain, you have several options:
1) We can renew the domain for you through our registrar. This costs $98, which includes $18 for the domain and an additional cost of $80 for a late renewal. We have no control over this additional cost, as it is levied on us by our domain registrar.
2) Try to register the domain through a domain back-ordering service, such as Pool (Registering starts at $60 with Pool) http://pool.com/
3) Wait until the domain is out of redemption and becomes available for registration again. Then, you can register it again for the regular price of $18. This would run the risk of the domain being registered by someone else before you, or the domain not being released for registration at all. The exact redemption period and the release of the domain are at the discretion of our domain registrar and we can’t control it.
If you want to have the best chance of getting your domain back, your best bet would be the first option. If you choose this option, please reply here, letting us know. We will then send you a direct request for payment and will contact our registrar on your behalf, asking to restore the domain.
Please note that time is of the essence here. Because your domain is very close to being cancelled, it may no longer be possible to recover it. If you pay for renewal and we are unable to recover the domain, you will be fully refunded.
Yes I choose option 1
Please bill me the 98.00
Please email me and confirm everything
Hi there, I’ve sent a link to the payment form to the email attached to this account. Please let me know if you don’t receive it.
We’ve received your payment and I’ve requested redemption of your domain through our registrar partner. I’ll keep you posted here.
Your domain has been successfully redeemed and is now available under Store > My Upgrades – where you can set it to auto-renew, if you wish – and Store > Domains. alexsangha.com is set as your primary domain.
Just let us know if you need anything else.
I cant auto renew my domain alexsangha.com
It is set to manual subscription
Can you auto renew it
Can you also send me your direct email or phone number so I can connect directly if necessary
I cannot set your domain to auto-renew as it involves setting up a credit card for future payments. You should see the button that says “Enable auto renew” next to your domain under Store > My Upgrades. What sort of trouble are you having?
I’m sorry, but we don’t offer phone support. If you need email support in the future, feel free to put in a support request through the form here:
When I click on Store and then My Upgrades it says the following:
Status: Active, Manual Renewal
There is no button that says “Enable auto renew.”
Hope you can help me with this. Thanks.
Hi there – could you please try removing the current credit card stored on your account, under Users > Personal Settings > Account Details. Click the link “Stored Credit Card Details” to delete the current stored card details. Then, see if the “Enable auto-renew” option appears under Store > My Upgrades.
I deleted my old credit card information and the Enable Auto Renew option still did NOT appear
Anything else I can do
Hi there – would you mind please logging out and back in, and let me know if you see the option now.
Its working now.
Thank you very much for all your help. It is appreciated.
Have a Happy New Year.
Yay – I’m glad to hear it. My pleasure, and wishing you a great 2013 too!
