How Does Google Index Permalinks Not Open For Indexing?

    Hi, All

I do not have a word press website myself, but I have been looking at one for a company and I noticed that all attachment files, images and icons are getting indexed in search results as pages. Some of these pages are not open for indexing and when I use tools to view every page on the website they do not exist.

I can see the benefit of all images being indexed in Google images, but not the search results as single pages for each image.

Can someone explain how Google indexes permalinks that are not opening for indexing and how Google is finding these links?

No, we can’t, because you are not talking about WordPress.COM sites. They don’t function that way. You need to be asking at WordPress.ORG.
