How to....

  1. How do I make a page that I can post more than one time on it. (not comment it)

  2. Pages sit outside the structure of a blog. Pages do not automatically update because they are intended to be used for "static" content, as opposed to changing and update content. Only one page on a blog automatically updates. Pages cannot have categories assigned to them and they have no Google juice. If you wish to make changes on a Page or add to it this must be done manually using the edit function.

As you are new this Beginner's Guide link to basic resources will be useful

  3. From reading your blog post I can see that you intend to have additional authors. Here are the links to the information and instructions for adding authors to your blog

Crediting Multiple Authors on a Group Blog
Once a blog Administrator has established a blog and chosen a theme he or she must decide the roles other members of the blogging group will have. Then the Administrator has some set up to do in order to add additional authors or users. Thereafter, the other authors register their email addresses with and group blogging begins. It's important to note that the email address and not the username of the author are key for contact and for access to the blog.

As very few blog themes allow for assigning credit to individual authors one of the common questions volunteers on the forum are asked how to give multiple authors credit. These are the options available for you to choose from when it comes to crediting authors.

    (1) You can choose a theme that provides for and displays individual authors. There are theme reviews that can assist you in determining if a theme provides this "authors" feature. Look in the section titled "Display post author".

    (2) If the theme you prefer to use does not this feature then you can create a category called "Authors" as a "parent" category and then create "children" (Tom, Dick, Harry) sub-categories for each author's name under the parent category Authors.

    (3) Or if neither of the above options are suitable then you can have each author include a byline in the posts they create.

  4. It would be a good thing if the posts you made to this forum had descriptive titles. This makes for better retrieval from the forum search box when others are looking for answers to the same question. In this case "more than one post on a page" would have been better than "how to..." because everyone who posts here is asking a "how to" question.

Welcome to and happy blogging. :)

  5. Timethief , you're very helpful. Just wanted to let you know that, and thanks for your time and help.
