    I’m not able to add and customize a form. After saving, the HTML code is stripped. Is there a way to do this ?

    The blog I need help with is eliensneyers.wordpress.com.

    We need a link to the site you are talking about.

    If it is hosted here at wordpress.COM, then you cannot use forms as that code is not allowed here for security reasons.

    What exactly are you trying to add? What are you trying to do?

    Thanks for your prompt reply.

    Yes it is hosted at wordpress.com. Is there no workaround possible ?

    I wanted to add something like:

    <form action=”MAILTO:(email redacted)” method=”post” enctype=”text/plain”>
    Name:
    <input type=”text” name=”name” value=”your name” />
    E-mail:
    <input type=”text” name=”mail” value=”your email” />
    Comment:
    <input type=”text” name=”comment” value=”your comment” size=”50″ />

    <input type=”submit” value=”Send”>
    <input type=”reset” value=”Reset”>
    </form>

    I use this one and it works very well

    [contact-form]
    [contact-field label="Name" type="name" required="true" /]
    [contact-field label="Email" type="email" required="true" /]
    [contact-field label="Website" type="url" /]
    [contact-field label="Comment" type="textarea" required="true" /]
    [/contact-form]

    @virginforlive, wordpress offers their own highly customizable contact form and it is very easy to use and set up. It can be put into pages, posts, and even the sidebar if you wish.
