How to add sidebar in Blissful Theme?

Hi, I was wondering if someone can explain to me how I can get a sidebar for the Blissful theme on my home page. It shows up on my other pages, except my home page.

The blog I need help with is

Please read the theme description and note the theme is not designed to display a sidebar on the front page.

Blissful Blog offers a sidebar template on single page, archive, and search views, and three footer widget areas on any page. You can assign widgets to each of these areas by going to Appearance -> Widgets.

Hello, thank you for the help with my last question.

I was wondering if you might be able to tell me how I can get a summary of each post on the main/home page. I have it set up like so on under my categories, but it doesn’t seem to be doing the same thing on the main page.

Also, is there anyway that I can have my most recent post above (the first person someone would see) earlier posts in the main feed? For some reason I thought this would automatically happen. Right now, my earliest post is just staying static, even though I don’t have the static setting clicked on.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Can you tell me how I can make the posts on my main/home page summaries (as I have when I categorize them)??
