how to add woocommerce if you are a .com

  • Hi there,
last week i joined wordpress and created my own blog with the following address http://www.michelabelli.wordpress.com then yesterday i decided to go straight with the more simple http://www.michelabelli.com and bought the domain for 26€ per year.
As im a writer my principal aim was to open a sort of e-store to sell my novel so i decided to download woocommerce as i happened to read around the web that this one was quite the best one.
Now here the fact… i found out that if you are a .com address you can’t use plugin but some of different widgets or something (sorry i’m a computer dumb) but to use those widgets you are supposed to buy the .com business license whose price is € 299 per year. WHAT???? 299 euros per year is that true?
Do you have any advice for me, please guy im quite terrible with this sort of things.
    Thanks a lot in advance

You can’t add Woocommerce on WordPress.com blogs.
If you want e-commerce here (on WordPress.com) you need the Business plan.

    Sell Online on WordPress.com

  • Since it’s your own book, you can sell directly using PayPal to collect the money or have a link to buy the book from Amazon or Barns & Nobel etc. Caution! – don’t have the link from an image, that would be considered an Ad and against the terms of service.

  • Can I ask on this topic – if I have images of a hotel [not linked], but then had a separate small image [button] saying “view hotel” of “book hotel” is that considered an ad if it away from the main images on the page?
