how to change order of categories

  1. Hello i am using the categories widget and would like to change the order in which my categories appear.

how do i go about doing this?

The blog I need help with is

  2. The categories will always show in alphabetical order. You can add a number to the beginning of each category. That is all I have to offer as a way to reorder them.

  3. is there another way to list them?

  4. You could create your own categories widget using a text widget and then update it whenever you created a new category.

  5. In addition, you'll need to format the links to your category pages as an unordered list.

And please paste the exact URL of your blog when asking questions here, or link your nickname to your blog (as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know Before Posting). We usually need that to give a relevant answer.

  6. If a person with a blog wants to order categories, you can use a variation of the alphabetical order by using punctuation or other symbols (using the option key on macs and other html codes). 7. im interested in subject. I understood that i have to use C1 and C2 for Chapter1 and Chapter 2. Still.... It's any way to show categories in a hierarchical way? My blog is a tutorial and categories means chapters (and sub-chapters) to me. Tks.

  8. We need a link to your blog, starting with http, in order to give applicable answers.
