How to change post title font size in Chateau?

  1. I would like to play around with changing the post title font size in Chateau using CSS, and was wondering which variable that would be! My primary goal is to make the post title text smaller so the post titles don't take up 2 lines as often.

    The blog I need help with is

  2. First, have you tried changing the title font size on the Appearance → Custom Design → Fonts page?

    If you want more specific help with changing the title font size in another way, could you provide a link to the blog where you want to make the change so we can take a closer look?

  3. I can't change it via Custom Fonts because I'm using the default theme font which doesn't have the size changer! (please add that...)

    And the blog I'm trying to make changes to is

    Thank you~

  4. Good suggestion! I'll look into that.

    Here's how to update the post heading size for Chateau using custom CSS:

    .post-title h1 {
        font-size: 2em;

    Adjust 2em to the site you want. It is set to 3em in the theme.

  5. Thank you very much!

    I realize after the change that the titles look a bit smaller/skinnier than ideal. Is there a way to make them bold?

  6. Sure. You can use the font-weight property for that:

    .post-title h1 {
        font-size: 2em;
        font-weight: bold;
  7. Thanks again for all the help!
