How to change the theme to Customized MistyLook Theme from Spectrum?

  1. My blog's current theme is Spectrum. I want to change the theme to MistyLook Theme ?

Please suggest me how can I do this?

The blog I need help with is

  2. You can quickly and easily change themes to another one found here and no data will be lost or negatively affected by the change. The only time you may have to do some work is if you are changing to a dramatically different theme and have done any CSS editing.

Provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the blog go to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes and browse themes until you find one you like and click "activate" or type in the name of the theme you want to use and
click the "activate" link when it appears.

After you change your theme all you need to do is go here Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Inactive Widgets and re-install them where you want them to appear. The widget contents and settings will be the same as they were prior to changing themes.

  3. If I switch themes, will my fonts and CSS carry over to the new theme?
Fonts will carry over, but CSS will not. CSS is theme-specific and CSS written for one theme is unlikely to make sense for another. You can always access CSS you saved in the past via the CSS Revisions link at the top right of the Appearance → Customize → CSS panel.

  4. I did not find Misty look theme in the list you mention. Does this mean it is impossible to change the theme to mistylook? Or is there any other way? Thanks!

  5. If you did not use Misty Look previously it's been retired as it does not support all WordPress features and it's not available for new users. The replacement is Misty Lake.

  6. Thank you very much. That helped. But there is a new problem: Blogroll no longer appears. Also, the list of categories have also disappeared.
I am new to this. So, please forgive me for giving you trouble!

  7. All widgets are installed and uninstalled here > Appearance > Widgets

If you wish you create a blogroll of related sites that you recommend to your readers then you enter the links into it in your dashboard Links section and display them in a Links widget.

There is no data a Categories widget can display until your actually assign a category to a post and publish it.
