  i just want to create a page that displays data from database.
  how can i do this?

  Simply, you cannot at least not on the free plan of WordPress.

  There is no database access for us wordpress.COM bloggers. There is no FTP access https://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/ and we cannot upload anything other than what is stated here https://en.support.wordpress.com/uploading-documents/ and here https://en.support.wordpress.com/accepted-filetypes/.
