How to create two columns on a page using CSS

The blog I need help with is emilyjaneflorist.com.
You could make two columns using CSS but I think it would be simpler to insert a gallery with two columns. You’ll also have the possibility to see te image and description more clearly when you click on them !

Finally, one last thing — the them you are using, Reddle, has an unusually wide sidebar. If you want your main content to spread out more horizontally, you might prefer to switch to a similar theme with a wider main content area.
Here are a couple of suggestions (these are all simple themes like Reddle, with a large custom header and right sidebar):
Let me know if you have further questions!
Thank you both very much! I ended up creating a gallery. Really appreciate your help.
