How to disable right click?
I need desperately to disable right click on my blog, I get copied every day, not to mention the ones I haven’t caught yet.
Please do not comment any CCS coding, plugins, etc, because I have the free version.
My blog isn’t a real life business operator, it’s just a blog for a kid’s virtual world game, which is why I do not buy the premium version of wordpress.
My blog’s URL is http://fantageville.wordpress.com
The blog I need help with is fantageville.wordpress.com.
Put simply: Ads are not allowed. Your blog will be suspended unless you get rid of them.
You can’t disable right-click on a WordPress.com blog except by using the Monotone or Duotone themes.
Um, what? Why are you saying MY blog will be suspended? Are you saying just because I put my URL in that question, it violated some sort of advertising rule? What?
And what serious problems?
I just looked up the Duotone theme, and it’s HIDEOUS. I’m using spectrum right now, and my blog is known for being very organized and beautiful, I’m not going to change the theme to that…
Sorry. I’m not trying to be rude, I am just so confused right now, could you elaborate? Thank you!
. There is no blogger initiated advertising allowed on any free hosted WordPress.com blogs. There is no need for us Volunteers to elaborate. The need is for you to click the links auxclass posted above and read what’s stated.
Unless you delete the ads, your blog will be suspended.
I’m sorry, but my mastery at WordPress is somewhat limited, as I am only a kid. I have only been blogging at WordPress for one year.
I don’t think I put any ads on my blog, could you tell me which ones?
And I clicked the links above, they didn’t tell me how to disable right click. I think you all are misinterpreting my question, so I will say it again.
How do you disable right click on the free version of a wordpress blog, to prevent copiers?
Only two themes have right click disabled and disabling right click is for fools – almost anyone can get around disabled right click – once a page is on my PC does not matter what you have done it’s mine and I can copy it
PS – don’t forget the ads
The ones in your sidebar, under the heading “ADVERTISEMENTS“.
@RC – Amazing isn’t it??
Lol, I’m not worried about the fact that disabling right click is for fools, considering that my audience is children from the age of 8-13.
And ah, those! Lol, those aren’t actually advertisements. They are banners that my friend made for me, so I could help promote their blog. Every Fantage blog has one. So unless you’re saying that every single on of them will be deleted…?
I call them advertisements, but they don’t actually benefit me, they are just banners.
Thanks for clarifying.
Pretending to be a child is also going to get you into trouble.
You’ve already been reported to staff for the ads.
Wow people?? I ask a question about disabling right click, and you tell me about my banners that swagbucks PURPOSELY gives to bloggers to post??
What a great help you are. I’m never posting on these threads again.
And just an fyi, I AM a kid.
I have had those ads for over a year now. Nothing has happened. Nothing will happen, because over 100 blogs has those banners.
Advertising isn’t even against the rule for WordPress, you are just taking advantage of the fact that I am a kid just to scare me.
Advertising is totally against the TOS, dude. Go read it.
In addition to AdSense-type ads, please do not use the following services on your blog:
Sponsored or paid posts, including PayPerPost, ReviewMe, and Smorty.
Affiliate or referral links to the following domains: usercash, clickbank, clickhop, cashrocks, payingcash.
Clicktrackers and any promotions of the “I made a million on the internet and so can you” type of advertising (i.e. MLM, network marketing, cash gifting, etc.).
Paid or sponsored post content is also prohibited.
How old ARE you then?
@RC – they changed “Advertisements” to “banners” – so I guess it is OK
You know, I see nothing on that site that looks like advertising per say. I see images and such, but don’t seen any evidence of pay per click, or any suspicious code in the links. I didn’t look that closely, but…
Swagbucks is advertising. If they’re not bright enough to get paid for it, the worse for them, but it’s specifically not allowed.
