How To Display All Comments “Automatically”

I have been playing around with the Andreas04 by Andreas Viklund theme.

I want to see if I can get all comments to display automatically without having to click to open them.

I thought I was on the right track while setting things up by doing the following:

Under “OPTIONS / DISCUSSION, I have unchecked all three options:

    Before a comment appears:

    * An administrator must always approve the comment
    * Comment author must fill out name and e-mail
    * Comment author must have a previously approved

Here is another sample of what I am trying to achieve with comments:

    Here is my blog:

Am I misreading how to do this. Will this particular theme allow this automatic display of comments. If this theme will not. Do you have a suggestion of one that will.

    Thank You.

On your main blog page, comments will never display. They do display on an individual post page.

So basically the link is an individual post. If you look at you won’t see the comments.

Thanks katm – I have seen blogs where they have multiple posts one after another that you have to scroll down through and each have their comments displayed below their respective posts. Do you know if I can accomplish this with a theme or does that require more sophisticated coding?

I have also seen “live comments” which would also be fun, but I doubt they would work with this free theme.

    Thanks again for your help.

You cannot accomplish this at It just won’t work that way. You could do it with an independently-hosted blog if you are pretty handy with code.

You might just want to use the Recent Comments widget for now.
