How to get initial confirmation message sent to a different email address?

    I entered an incorrect email address when setting up a new blog. Now it won’t let me correct the email address until I’ve responded to the confirmation message (which I can’t receive)! (I put, but it should be Sorry & thanks for help…

    Many thanks. Perhaps simplest if I just start again with a new blog. Are you able to ditch this one with the faulty email address, so I can re-use the blog name with the correct email address?

The blog has now been confirmed, but I am still unable to change the faulty email address to the correct one, because the system requires confirmation from the original faulty email address. Can you fix this too please? (On the My Account page it says There is a pending change of your e-mail to blah blah). Can you just confirm this change please?

    Karodotim, for some reason it is not sticking. It still says ‘There is a pending change of your e-mail to (email redacted)’. As I said, I can’t confirm this change if the message is sent to the original faulty address.
    I will make sure I’m logged out now, in case being logged in while you made the change was somehow making it revert to the old address.
