I am using the ‘Baskerville 2’ theme. In 1 MENU option I have the multiple blog posts. Want to create a 2nd MENU with multiple blogposts like the 1st one, but only a single post is appearing on the 2nd MENU option. How can I create multiple blog posts on the 2nd MENU option?
For more clarity – somduttasarkar.wordpress.com – TRAVEL DIARIES menu has multiple blogposts but FOOD REVIEW too I want multiple blogposts instead of a single page option

The blog I need help with is somduttas.wordpress.com.

    Hi @ssomdutta,

You can set up the “Food Review” page as a Category Page. You can edit the current menu item to a Category page and while publishing the new posts for “Food Review” use the same category. Here is useful support document with further details:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/

Hope this helps, please let me know for any further questions.

    Thanks!

Thanks a lot Pavan! It worked. But the same post is displayed on the “Travel Diaries” MENU along with “Food Review” even when I have tagged to the category of only Food Review. Any suggestion?

    Hi again,

    Am glad it worked! :)

I took a closer look at your site. The “Travel Diaries” menu item seems to display all the blogs you publish. And the “Food Reviews” displays just the one post. If you would like to have only specific blogs under the “Travel Diaries” section, you can set that Menu item as a Category page as well. It will display only the “Travel Diaries” blogs only.

To be able to change it in your current scenario, just change the menu item(Travel Dairies) to a category and edit the Posts to the same category. You can have as many category pages.

A usual practice is your home page has all the blogs and your Category page has respected blogs. You can even add a category widget for easy navigation for your visitors.

Hope this helps, let me know any further questions.

    Thanks!

P.S.: I just visited Pawana and Mahableshwar last month! :)

Thanks once again! Just did the changes. It worked!
Strangely upon opening the site (somduttasarkar.wordpress.com) it’s displaying all posts together – it’s not the ‘Home’ category page.

That’s nice! Pawana and Mahabaleshwar both are really beautiful places :)

There isn’t a way to exclude specific categories from the main blog page. If you wanted, you could set your front page to use a static front page, and then use the Display Posts shortcode to display posts in your desired categories, but you won’t get the grid layout with that method.
