How to get pictures to show next to post summary in archives?
-
I see other blogs where each post in the archives is a summary with a small picture. I have the summary, but no picture. My posts have pictures but I have no idea how to get it to show in the archives! Help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The way your Archives are displaying on the blog linked to your username is normal behavior for the Misty Look theme. Each theme is different. Duotone and Monotone themes display thumbnails.

If you want to have a thumbnail image appear in every post in the Archives pages then you have to insert a thumbnail image at the beginning of each post and split the post content by inserting “the more tag. The will create only the beginnings of posts on your front page followed by a “read more” link. When the link is clicked or the post title the whole post is displayed on it’s own page. I tried this in my test blog using MistyLook and the thumbnails did appear in the Archives. See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/
