How to get rid of stock photo and quote in Cocoa template

  • Hello, I am new to CSS and am wondering how to use it to it’s fullest. firstly I would like to get rid of the stock photo and quote on the Cocoa template, thank you for any feed back.

    You actually don’t need to use CSS to achieve either of these goals. They can both be done using by changing some of the built-in options. The photo can be replaced with another image from your media library or switched to a flat colour from your dashboard by clicking Appearance > Customize > Colors (see: custom backgrounds) and you can remove the Cocoa quote widget from Appearance > Widgets by either clicking the “Delete” link or by dragging it out of the widget section so it will save the contents in case you want to reinstate it in the future.
