How to have suggestions considered?

I have a suggestion but could not find exactly where to post it. So, I’m posting here and hope it will be forwarded appropriately, if necessary.

1st – We (bloggers) could really use line numbers in the margin(s) on the TEXT sheet, I think.
2nd – OR, if not numbered lines, how about a search or find tool? Could I have missed that somewhere?
3rd – An area to accept suggestions, if there isn’t one already.

    Thanks for your consideration. TLT

1 Are you talking about the text editor?
2 most browsers have a “find” feature. You could just use that. In FireFox it’s under the “edit” menu. There is even a keystroke shortcut.
3 I’ll move this to the Ideas forum for you.

I have several posts on my site that were put there deliberately to make them easy to find initially. I would now like to move those posts to pages so that they will appear in the side bar and can more easily be located by people that are just now visiting the site (as they have become buried by new posts). I would also like to be able to move the comments that were made on the post at the same time. Is there a way to do this? If not, would that be something you would consider doing?

Hijacking threads with unrelated topics is not a good thing. For the most part this is a peer to peer forum manned by volunteers with staff assistance when needed. We try very hard to keep these forums organized so other readers can search to find answers with the tags. Hijacking threads makes for lots of confusion. Please start your own thread with your question:

    Hello Tess,

Thank you for responding and also for moving my post.

Yes, I am speaking of the text editor. It would be really great if it had numbered lines.

You’re right, the brower find feature works.

    Thanks Again.
