This is a peer support forum where Volunteers and Staff work cooperatively to deliver WordPress.com support. There is no phone support here and we Volunteers do not provide support by email.
Volunteers answer most questions posted into forum threads and Staff monitor. When Volunteers cannot provide the required support we flag threads for Staff attention.
We Volunteers have provided this free service every day day in and day out for over 7 years now the bloggers like yourself would not be waiting for eons for Staff to provide support. We provide support on weekends when Staff presence on these forums is very low. We provide support on these forums when Staff are off at their 4 Perice and annual meetups and/or traveling to and from them
Please do not expect us Volunteers who are are multitasking from our businesses to help here free of charge to hand holding, red carpet support as that would be unfair and unrealistic.
We are not rude. We are busty and we are blunt. We have been here longer than most support Staff have even been on WordPress.com Staff. If our correct answers delivered without the hollow social niceties does not suit you then you have an alternative. You can pay for an upgrade will and that will provide you with the ability to have support direct from Staff who are paid to provide hand holding, red carpet service.
edit: Perice = periodic
