How to make a page without the blog/comments

  1. I want to have a few pages that are static and not blog pages.

I will have the blog and that's ok. But how do I get the bloggy info off off the static pages?

I just want those to have text and images.

I have looked through loads of info and tried to follow tutorials, but still no luck.

Is there an easy way to make a static page template that I can adapt with widgets etc?

The blog I need help with is

  2. This page > Settings > Discussion is where you set up defaults for comments.
We can also override the default settings and enable or disable future comments on any post or page.
If you do that and sitll see a "leave a comment" pgrase or similar phrase then you need to use CSS editing to get rid of it.

You will not be able to remove some "bloggy elements" without purchasing an annually renewable Custom design upgrade and doing the CSS editing required.

You cannot create you own template or theme here at and we cannot edit templates or themes. If you want to hack a blog theme you are by far better off to hire a web host and set uyp a install because you can hack it free of charge and do what we cannot do at
