How to remove shadow box around image?
-
I’m very new to coding…as in, I’ve never even tried it before. But the shadow boxes around my images have been bugging me for a really long time and I really want them to disappear. Can anyone help? I have no clue what I’m doing!
Thanks!

Hi. In order to assist you, we need the URL of your blog, starting with http:// please. Thanks.

Add this to your custom CSS. Delete all the informational text first.
.entry a img { background: none; border: none; }

Thank you so much! I have been frustrated with this for such a long time and couldn’t figure it out on my own. You’re the best!
xx.

I was wondering the same thing. So only those who have custom CSS can have borderless images?
-
Those who have purchased the Custom Design upgrade can edit all of the images at once for the entire site in one rule.
If you don’t have the upgrade, then it depends on your theme and exactly how the borders you’re referring to are getting added.

I currently have the Custom Design upgrade, but I don’t want to pay for it anymore. I discovered that the minor changes I got the upgrade to make were mostly possible through a normal theme choice. So I picked Chateau and then after I made all of the changes, decided it might be cute to have a small signature graphic at the end of every post. That’s the graphic that has a border around it.

@complexwoman, you can cancel the upgrade wihtin 30 days of purchase. If you’ve had it longer than that, you can just let it expire normally. If you decide to let the upgrade expire, you’ll want to go to your store page and turn off the auto renew option for each upgrade.
